Earlier today, I saw this picture of Georyl and her dad that was taken a few months ago.
They are playing one of those arcade games at the Excalibur Hotel here in Las Vegas. In the picture, Georyl thought that she’s the one driving so, as you can see, she’s very serious and determined to win. Although, it was fun playing those arcades games, we did not stay long at the Excalibur Hotel because we went out to look for some auto lift deals.
When I was still single, I remember seeing those fathers who spend some bonding time with their kids at the mall. I used to tell myself that someday, I would like my husband to be a loving and doting father to his kids as well – someone who will really find time to be with his kids and become part of their childhood memories. Now, it has become a reality and my heart fills with joy to know that my wishful thinking did come true.
I know that not all parents have the privilege of being with their children most of the time because of work and other commitments. However, we, as parents must try our best to spend quality time with our kids so that someday when they grow up, they will remember fondly their childhood memories and the times they spent with us.
