Curious Georyl

Georyl is getting curious with animals and pets.

The other day, she was very excited while looking at the fishes in an aquarium at the restaurant where we ate. Today, she had a great time looking at the birds in the bird cages at a pet store that we visited.

Actually, hubby and I went to the pet store to buy a pair of birds as a birthday gift for our family friend who really loves birds. When we were there, Georyl kept pointing to the birds in the bird cages – especially a pair of blue and yellow macaw that we almost bought a pair for ourselves.

When we learned that the cost of the macaw was $2000, we just stuck to our original plan of buying a gift for our friend and opted for the relatively cheap parakeet (LOL). I can’t imagine spending two thousand bucks for birds, not to mention the cost of the bird cages, covers, stands, perches and other accessories.

Anyway, we just showed Georyl some videos taken during our trip to the zoo last year to feed her curiosity for animals and pets. My! She asks a lot of questions too and I’m running out of answers.

Valentine’s Day Surprise

February 14, 2012 · 1 comment

Happy valentine’s day!

How was your valentine’s day celebration? Me, I just received a wonderful gift. No, it’s not an i pad or any new expensive gadgets. This valentine’s day, my husband and I received a wonderful gift: a laboratory test results confirming what I’ve been thinking for sometime now: I’m pregnant!

Yes, Georyl is going to become an older sister soon. I hope my pregnancy will be alright and looking forward to having a healthy, normal and beautiful baby a few months from now.

Isn’t that a wonderful Valentine’s day surprise?

Hello everyone! How’s everything?

Lately, I’ve not been feeling well. I feel like a yomega yoyo (actually the term should have been “like in a roller coaster ride” but since it’s not as dramatic as the latter, I chose to compare what I felt with a yoyo, wink!). Sometimes I am energetic and on the go and then the next minute, I feel so lethargic, sleepy and sometimes, dizzy.

Can you guess what’s happening? First one with the right guess will be featured on the sidebar for a week.

How was your weekend?

We’ve been busy installing wood laminate on our floors during the weekend. We finished the master’s bedroom today and started on the other room too. Since we still have to buy our portable light a new cree xm-l lamp, we usually call it a day by 4:00 in the afternoon because it already gets dark and it’s hard to see whether the laminates are even.

I’ll share with you some pictures of our DIY installation of wood laminate soon. I forgot to take pictures but we’re gonna do the whole house so I’ll have lots of opportunities in the next few days.

Gonna be a busy week!
