Has anyone of you ever studied online? If you did, how do you compare getting a degree online to getting it in the traditional way of attending classes in the university? Did it have any impact on your income opportunities or job applications?
I am thinking of getting an online course right now to take advantage of the free time (lots of them) that I have. I was halfway through my Master in Management course before but had to stop when I transferred to another job in another state. I didn’t have the chance to finish it after I got married and became a stay at home wife and mother. Maybe I could still finish my master’s or maybe get some online certificate programs.
I mentioned this because I came across a site about Walden University. Their website is actually WaldenU.edu and it’s quite informative. The site has various sections about lots of degree programs (categorized, if you want) in different schools and universities. They even tuition and financial aid section – which, I know, will help a lot of those who seek self-development (in terms of continued education) but don’t have any spare amount in their budget for tuition fees and related expenses.
Will you also consider earning a degree online? If yes, what course are you planning to take?
