I have been wearing eyeglasses since third year high school. During those times, I wore eyeglasses that were larger than saucers (an exaggeration, of course) that were so big that they covered more than one-third of my face.
As the years went by, I can’t anymore remember how many times I replaced my eyeglasses. All I know is that the recent one was half a year ago.
Here’s me – wearing my latest pair of eyeglasses:
Hubby “suggested” this style of eyeglasses to me. He’s a man of few words so when he “suggested” this more than twice, I already know that he’s “insisting” on it. At that time, I was not really keen on getting it because it’s a bit pricier than what I wanted and I haven’t used black plastic frames – ever! Now, I feel that he made the right pick – because I look more chic on these eyeglasses than the ones that I’d worn before.
I’m loving these eyeglasses that my hubby picked for me – so love it that I even wear them in pics; unlike before that I needed to remove my eyeglasses before saying “cheese.”
If it was me I would be proud too. You seldom find men who care what you should and should not wear or suggest what would look nice and what’s not on you. And that pair or glasses you’re wearing simply looks gorgeous on you sis. I would say, it’s a smart choice! 🙂
thanks nancy. hubby’s the one who’s urging me to try new things – like this new pair of eyeglasses. if it were up to me, I’d buy the ones that I used to wear. using this one drastically changed the way i looked. 😉

I myself started wearing eyeglasses when I was 16 with an eye grade of 2.25. I am myopic so imagine how thick and heavy it is now with 1.000 eye grade.

Hello, you know that i have an eyeglasses too since high school up to now because of my astigmatism. But when i take the herbal medicine, nawala ang astigmatism ko, and now i did not wear my eyeglasses. Pero bagay sayo because you look professional on your eyeglasses..
