I can’t believe how time can pass by so fast.
A few days ago, Georyl’s little sister, Geshery, just turned two months old. She has gotten big! From five pounds and seven ounces when she was born, she now weighs more than ten pounds.
Geshery is such a sweet angel – smiling and cooing a lot. She’s not a cry baby, except when she’s really hungry or wet. She can lift her head and upper body when we put her on her stomach (like she’s doing some push-ups). And, Georyl loves her a lot!
When I was still pregnant, I downloaded and used an ipod application that shows fetal development during pregnancy week by week and read a book entitled What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Now, I am reading a book entitled “What to Expect: The First Year” as my reference in taking care of Geshery. It helps too that my mother is here right now and I learn a lot from her advices and seeing her take care of her grandchild. I feel that these factors and the experience I had with Georyl had helped me tremendously in understanding Geshery such as knowing what each cry means (whether she’s hungry, wet, needs to be cuddled, sleepy or bored).
I will be sharing pictures of Geshery soon. I am just too lazy to download pictures from the cam right now.
