When you begin decorating the bathroom, you can choose a theme or add a few Zack bathroom accessories to create a general look. If you choose a theme, it is best to use colors that will make the room look larger as the bathroom is usually one of the smallest areas of the home. If you are looking for a softer look in the bathroom, consider plush rugs in front of the sink, around the toilet and in front of the tub or shower. You can also use a soft shower curtain instead of one that is plastic. These often last longer. Some plants that attract humidity can be placed in the bathroom so that there is not a lot of moisture in the room. This can help decrease mold and mildew that might build if you take hot showers or leave the door closed so that the moisture is locked on walls and in the air.
Accessories do not have to be functional. You can add items that give a little color to the room, such as stained glass pictures on the walls or a rack over the back of the toilet so that you can set picture frames and trinkets. Luxury accessories might include a chrome caddy for towels or jets that are placed in the tub. You can also add a tray across the tub for soap and shaving items.
