Have you heard of Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club? I learned about it recently while doing a Google search for tourist spots in the east coast. We are planning to travel again this year and I’m looking for places we could pass by during our planned coast-to-coast drive.
When I did my online search, among the results was a picture of a beach that reminded me of Boracay Island in Aklan, Philippines. It turned out that albeit the lack of white sand, the beaches at the Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club was just as appealing as the Boracay beach. This golf and beach club is located just north of Vero Beach, a beautiful coastal town in Florida.
According to the City of Vero Beach website, the hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. If ever our plan to travel to the east coast in Spring or Summer pushes through, I hope the weather will permit us to visit this scenic place.
Aside from the City of Vero Beach in Florida, we also plan to visit New York, Washington DC, New Jersey and Miami. We will also visit a few friends in Georgia and my hubby’s aunt in Indianapolis.
Can you suggest other places and popular tourist spots that we can visit this year?
