Are there times when you log-in to your Facebook account and just read your friends’ wall posts? I know some may think that it’s a complete waste of time, others may tease me for stalking but, yes, I usually do that.
As a stay at home wife and mother, reading my friends’ posts on Facebook is my way of connecting to the outside world. It not only keeps me updated from what’s happening in their lives, I get to learn the latest news and popular song and videos too. I wouldn’t know that Gangnam style was that popular if not for Facebook. I also would not be aware that there will be a mid-term election in the Philippines if not for those propaganda being shared on Facebook. And that’s where you can post questions like where’s the best place to visit in a certain area or where can you buy stuff like Registry cleaner for example and get some real answers!
During those times when I have a writer’s block and can’t think of any topic to write, reading my Facebook news feeds helps me think of something to write about. I can share about the quotes I read and even write a blog post if it warrants one.
For example, one of my friends shared this quotation on Facebook a few minutes ago:
Waste not even a precious second in anger, hate, jealousy or selfishness. Know that every seed you sow is the seed that you’ll harvest. Every action, good or bad, is always followed by an equal reaction.
I agree with the first two sentences but I believe that the last one, it’s not always the case. Sometimes, even if you do something good, some people will take it negatively.
Anyway, enough Facebook stalking for today. I just realized that I need to finalize the Juppy Baby Walker giveaway that I’ll be hosting on Wednesday.
Till then! Ciao!

I do that once in a while when I am free.
