My body’s achin’ all over! Last night, I wasn’t able to sleep until the wee hours of the morning even if I was so tired.
We went to the house yesterday to clean the unit where we intended to stay. When we went there, the electricity was already cut so I went on all fours to scrub and mop the floors. Hubby and I helped each other in cleaning the house while Baby Gee, also helped in her own special way.
I am so proud of Baby Gee because she seemed to understand why her parents are so busy and didn’t make a fuss about it. She just kept herself busy with a book, lollipops and the iPod. Occasionally, she would come to us to check what we’re doing, try to help by sweeping the floor (imagine my two year old daughter holding a broom that’s taller than her) or ask for food and water but in general, she was so helpful just by being so obedient, understanding and patient – even though she missed her afternoon nap!
I want to have some kitchen makeover but I’m not sure if the price tag is practical. We’re thinking of having a DIY kitchen makeover to save but I’m not sure if we can do it right.
Today, we’re planning to buy some stuff today for the new house – some wool rugs perhaps then new lights and lamps. We’re planning to buy a paint sprayer too so that we can just do the painting job ourselves (and save money on labor costs when we prepare the other units when the tenants move out.
Being a new homeowner is indeed an exhilarating but exhausting experience.
Good girl BBG..Just make sure she doesn’t miss her snacks, and yours, too. Congrats BBG qnd GEO-RYL!!!
My two-year old is just like baby Gee. When I take out the vacuum, she says “Mommy, va-vacuum ako.” And when I’m cleaning the glass of the center table, she says “Ako i-spray” then I’ll wipe the glass. Aren’t they really nice? I hope they would continue to be so when they grow up.

everytime she see kalat sa living area she’ll get the broom and dust pan..
pero ayun..hindi naman nya mashot-shot ang basura sa dust pan.. paikot ikot lang ito sa walis..hahaha..they’re indeed cute tingnan trying thier best helping…
sana nga mommy Chin tuloy2 lang sila na masipag when they grow up.
