Ah, the joy of childhood!
My youngest daughter, Gesh, recently found a toy guitar from the 99Cents Store. It was love at first sight and she refused to leave the store without her precious one-dollar guitar.
Whenever I play our (real) guitar at home, Gesh would try to pull (instead of strum) the guitar strings. This is the reason why our guitar is off-limits to her. Although the guitar is not expensive nor does it come with a money back guarantee when we purchased it, it has a sentimental value since we bought it when we were still living in Morocco.
Anyway, even at a young age, Gesh shows signs that she’s going to be a music lover. She loves to sing along with the songs from Frozen and other children’s shows that she and her older sister love to watch.
It is going to be a very long time before Gesh gets a real guitar but in the meantime, this one-dollar toy guitar will do.
