What do you desire the most in a relationship, love or respect?
The book Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires; The Respect He Desperately Needs by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs shares a new perspective on how to crack the communication code between couples and help them make their marriage and relationship stronger and better. This 324-pages book is based on over three decades of counseling as well as scientific and biblical research.
I enjoyed reading this book. It’s like a he-vs-she analogy wherein it presents how the couple could see the same acts and situations differently, with an explanation on how understanding what your partner needs could make a difference in your relationship. Some examples given are almost similar to some situations hubby and I had been through. Somehow, the ideas Dr. Eggerich had shared in this book shed some light on those circumstances where I feel like I can’t fathom a man’s mind (and probably hubby’s thinking the same with me too. LOL).
You don’t need a rocky marriage to need to read this book. Even if your relationship is currently smooth sailing, you and your mate will benefit from reading this book and probably change the way on how you talk to, think about, and treat each other.

..ako sis I use to read books about relationship marami na nga ako..some I just bought it from booksale so hindi sya ganun ka-bago..I even have books na for marriage couple na..hehehe..pero ngayon I stopped reading book about relationship..hehehe..more on baby books naman..

I used to read books about relationship before kasi hopeless romantic kasi. I want both love and respect. but if i get to choose one i prefer respect ehehhee love will surely follow pag may respeto bawat isa
