Are you looking for an apartment?
As a property owner, I often look at apartment listings to see the trend in the rental market. I want the prices that we charge for rent to be competitive (not charging too low and miss income opportunities nor too high and risk having vacant rental units for a long time).
Recently, I came across a website called Apartments.com, a website that caters mainly to those looking for apartments. It is straightforward and easy to use. You basically just need to input a state, city or zip, the number of bedrooms or bathrooms and the maximum rent that you’re willing to pay in their search feature and you’re all set. After clicking the “Search” button, you will be brought to the results page where various listings that match your criteria will be shown.
Features I Like
I love their map feature because you easily can have an idea as to which apartment is located where. You can also sort through the listing according to rental price (from low to high or vice versa), property name, city, updated or new and show 10, 20 or 30 results according to your preferences.
I also love the fact that for each rental property, there are information as to the rent, required deposit amount and square footage. If you are lucky, there is also a 3D and/or 2D map of the floor plan. Cool, right?
