Have you seen the 53rd animated film from Walt Disney entitled Frozen? Well, this is no exaggeration but my children have seen it for more than a hundred times already.
Frozen is a story of two sisters who are both princesses of Arendelle. The eldest one, Elsa, has some magical powers while the younger sister, Anna, is spirited and feisty. They were close when they were younger but their parents limited Elsa’s contact with people, including Anna, when the former accidentally hit the latter with her powers.
I love the songs, the screenplay and the message that this movie conveys. If you are already tired of the “love at first sight – and they lived happily ever after” type of romances in the fairy tales from Disney (think Cinderella, Snow White and The Little Mermaid), you’ll appreciate the fact that Frozen tells a story of true love from a different (but more realistic) perspective.
Anyway, here is my 4-year-old daughter singing the song “Let It Go” while sitting on a couch cushion. She still doesn’t know how to read so the (modified) version of the lyrics are just from her memory.
She also memorized the other songs from Frozen like Do You Want to Build a Snowman, For The First Time in Forever, Fixer Upper, Love is an Open Door and In Summer.
she is so gorgeous and kids do love to sing and be like the frozen princess.
