The moment we stop learning is the moment we stop living. That is one principle I live by and is adapted from the following quotation:
The day you stop learning is the day you stop living.” Albert Einstein (March 14, 1879 – April 18, 1955)
The internet has been instrumental for me in learning new things in the past few years. I do not have any formal training in computers but through research in the internet, I learned a lot about setting up my blogs, Blogger, WordPress, blog designing, using Photoshop and Illustrator, html codes and other techie/geeky stuff.
This year, I would like to focus on learning a new skill – sewing. I think it would be great to sew curtains, pillows and other decors for our home. I might be able to sew clothes for my little ones as well.
Right now, I am looking at buying a Singer 4411 Heavy Duty sewing machine. Despite mixed reviews of the product, I’ve read that Singer is a good product (although not great customer support?).
Are you into sewing? What do you think of the specs of the sewing machine that I wanted to buy? Any suggestions or advice on my new interest? I would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance!
