It’s been a few weeks since we had moved into our new home and so far, my family and I are already settled. The kids had adjusted to their new surrounding although we haven’t spent a lot of time outdoors, in our backyard, because of the scorching heat of the sun during summer in Las Vegas.
Since we just transferred to the new house, I thought that we won’t be receiving junk mails for a while. Alas! We’re receiving a lot of junk mails now, more than ever. From landscaping offers to refinancing options, the application for homestead to dental clinics, we’re having them in our mailbox daily! My, there’s even this offer for those who want to buy casket which, although a fact of life, can be so morbid to offer to someone who had just transferred to a new home.
Instead of getting irritated with those mails, I decided to reply to those offers that included a postage paid envelope. What I did was I inserted a few leaflet from another company and then sent them to those that have postage paid envelopes. If they can send me unsolicited mails, I may as well return the favor, right? Besides, it is like helping the government because it is income for the post office too.
Oh well, that might not be such a good thing to do. I don’t want to be mean but do you have other tricks on how to deal with junk mails?
