Wow, I can’t believe that this is my first blog post for 2014! Oh boy! Time really flies so swiftly.
Anyway, belated happy new year everyone! How was the start of your year? Have you broken your new year’s resolutions already? Grin.
Speaking of New Year’s resolution, do you know that a part of my new year’s resolution is to focus more time on my family and duties at home? You might be tempted to think that it’s quite easy – but don’t! Any fulltime stay at home wife and mother with little kids will tell you that it is quite a tall order. The picture below is just an example of what I tackle daily.
Ugh!
Imagine this: I had to clean a five bedroom house, cook, do the laundry, wash the dishes and do all those other work at home while taking care of two active babies who are both in the “I want mommy mode.” My absence from the online scene is a proof of how my quest to become a better housewife and mother is taking much of my time.
I was so pleased when hubby hired someone to do carpet cleaning last Wednesday. I regularly vacuum and clean the carpets but I was amazed by what professional cleaners can do. They even used green cleaning products which is a big thumbs up for me. With little children, I do not want those harsh chemicals in my home.
Anyway, that’s as far as I can share right now. My youngest baby just woke up – that’s my cue!
Bye for now. Don’t forget to say “hi” in the comments section below.

It’s really hard to stick to a new year’s resolution. I already broke some. and it’s just the second month of the year. LOL!
