Should Facebook come up with it’s own Facebook-Book?
Well, I saw a video about a study made prior to the release of the Chromebook into the market. The participants who were invited to try out the Chromebook logged on to Facebook and majority of them opened FB right away. This leading social networking site is just so famous that the announcer even asked Facebook to come up with it’s own mobile device that will be based on the Facebook interface (just like the Chromebook from Google which was based on Google Chrome web browser).
Facebook is so popular; I even bet that you have a Facebook account. Well, it seems everybody does! It’s no wonder why businesses are now tapping into Facebook to reach out to their respective markets. Whether it’s about creating a great business Facebook page design or doing frequent promos and gimmicks on Facebook, I believe that having a good social network marketing strategy, specifically on Facebook, is a way to go for every business.
In social networks, a great post, video or article could go viral – and that kind of exposure is just what every business aims for. If YouTube was able to make Justin Bieber and Charice become household names, just imagine what Facebook can do to an unknown product where it’s easier for everybody to share and like an item (and did I mention that almost everyone is in FB?).
I’ve seen a picture of “icebag on knees, feet in ice water” getting more than 62,000 likes (nothing special about the pic but if you’re a Kobe Bryant fan and you know that it’s his pic, you probably can’t resist that “Like” button) and a poignant story about a young boy getting more than a hundred thousand likes. A pic with a story was tops at more than a million likes! And the list can go on and on.
Social networks present a lot of potential to all marketers and businesses who are looking for leads and sales. With the right social marketing strategy, these individuals, groups or organizations can reach out to their target market.
Have a business Facebook page. Remember, everyone is on Facebook!
