It’s 2-1, and if this is boxing, there’s a split decision in favor of a “girl.”
During one of my earlier prenatal check-ups, my OB/GYN predicted that my baby’s gonna be a boy. She was showing me something on the screen and explained why she thinks it’s a boy. In my 20th week of pregnancy, I underwent an ultrasound and the sonographer said that she’s positive that it’s a girl. She even shared with me this image:
Even though the ultrasound results were more accurate, there’s still a lingering thought that we might not be 100% sure of our next baby’s gender. We were planning to prepare two names (for a girl and a boy) and my! the process itself is becoming really hard! I mean, what name combination will be as original like that of Georyl’s name (which is a combination of our names, George and Sheryl)?! Think! Think! Think!
Anyway, I went through another ultrasound yesterday. It was the second time during my pregnancy that I had to go through that test. Although it makes me a bit anxious why my doctor needs to request for another ultrasound, I was glad that finally the standoff between whether my next baby is a boy or a girl has now ended.
The ultrasound technician told me that it’s a girl. She was explaining again why she thinks it’s a girl but for someone like me, all I can see a black and white spots. LOL! It’s like being given a black and white photo and being expected to see it in various colors.
Now, our next problem will be picking a girl’s name. It has to be something original – like Georyl’s. Any suggestions?

Congratulations Sheryl! Another girl, another princess 🙂 Choosing a name is tough, I don’t have any suggestions right now, but you’re right it has to be unique too

thanks vera. re: name, yap yap yap! it’s hard because we need something that will be like Georyl’s – something unique but is a combination (or at least close) of our names. thanks for the visit. 🙂

Wow! another baby girl. The sonographer were always right when they told us the gender of our babies when I was still pregnant. Hmmm, combining your names for a new baby name is difficult. I can’t wait to know what you come up with. Have a happy and safe pregnancy.

Since Georyl’s name is a combination of George and Sheryl. Why not try thinking of a name with the combination of Sheryl before George? 🙂
