Experience with Product Shipping
The current product that I am using was the second product sent to me by the advertiser. The first time I was sent the product, the packaging was not adequate and the glass was already broken when I opened it (just a flimsy bubble wrap, small box, no label/”fragile” warning on the package). I emailed them about what happened and the next time they sent me this Francois et Mimi Single Wall Borosilicate Glass French Coffee Press, it was in a bigger box, with plenty of bubble wrap and the package was properly labeled.
My Verdict
We’ve been using French coffee press before so we know that one can only use coarsely ground coffee in French coffee press. This is a bit bigger than what we need because we only make about 20 oz. of coffee at a time but at least we’re prepared in case we need to provide for more people. The design is just like the usual glass-chrome French coffee press but the screw that connects the handle to the chrome body is already getting rust in ours. While the advertiser says this is dishwasher safe, I’ve been hand washing the glass since we got it.
