Guess who’s celebrating his birthday today?
A fellow blogger and the webmaster of Basic Bloganomics, Mr. David Funk, does!
Unknown to many, Mr. D is the first blogger who became my friend in the blogosphere. At that time, I was still writing for my blog “Bloggista Info Corner” and he was one of those who had left encouraging comments on my posts.
I thought blogging was all about writing and publishing articles but Mr. D introduced the idea that blogging includes reaching out and connecting with other bloggers too. I wonder how long it would have taken me to learn about the special camaraderie shared by bloggers worldwide if he opted not to leave comments on my posts. (I don’t even know about Entrecard or other blogging networks then.)

I had zero idea that I was your first blogging friend or that you and the author of Bloggista Info Corner were one in the same! Well, you’ve done a great job with this site though!
Anyway, blogging isn’t easy in terms of traffic, but friends can be made without much effort by showing simple courtesy. It has nothing to do with how active a blogger is either.
