Almost a month ago, I was given a complimentary 30 day unlimited subscription to CreativeBug Craft classes and workshops. It is actually just one of the two ways to access CreativeBug. Aside from the $9.95/month subscription that will give you access to hundreds of classes in their website, you can also go a la carte by buying single workshops for as low as $9.95.
CreativeBug can easily be your go-to source for online art and craft instruction. It has gathered some of the most inspiring designers and crafters to bring video workshops right to your screen. The professionally made videos provide step by step guides that both newbies and advanced crafters will surely find easy to follow.
Among the classes and workshops featured at CreativeBug are sewing, paper, yarn, quilting, jewelry, crafts, and kids crafts. My one-month subscription is almost through but it is still not enough to watch all those videos so I just focused on sewing in the meantime. Here is a screenshot of some of the classes in sewing:
My Verdict
I love the easy to follow tutorial videos featured on the website. Although you can find videos or articles on the internet about some of the featured projects in CreativeBug, it is still great to find these helpful videos in one place. The only cons I can see is the fact that these are not downloadable and can only be accessed when you are online so it may not be for you if you have an unreliable or slow internet connection. The classes are broken down into short videos that make them easy to follow but you had better take notes if you use a desktop computer that is in a different room than your crafts table or room.
Disclosure: I received a one-month subscription mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

and after you’re free trial, would you play to subscribe?

I am probably going with the a la carte Jamie. there’s a lot of projects available under the subscription but i want unlimited access to some videos way after the one month subscription period.

A great resource for a designer like you. I don’t have the creativity in me especially with stuff like this.

If only I have a lot of time, I’d probably would love to engage myself with such too.
