Goodnight, Angels is a 26-page bedtime board book written by Melody Carlson mainly for kids. It was published by ZonderKidz and uses the illustrations of Sophia Allsopp.
The book takes the point of view of a boy who is about to retire for the night. He says goodnight to the objects, animals and people around him. He also did not fail to say his prayer of thanks to God before he goes to sleep.
If your children enjoyed but had outgrown the book, Goodnight Moon, this is probably the next bedtime book that they are going love. The rhyme of the words will lull your children to sleep and the message of prayer and thankfulness for God’s love and care will instill good values in their young minds.
The illustrations used muted colors – but I believe that it is understandable considering that this is a bedtime book. My one year old likes pointing at the objects in the book while I read it at night to her and her 4-year-old sister.
As a parent, I love the message that this book teaches my children. If you were looking for another bedtime book, I would recommend Goodnight, Angels.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a copy of Goodnight, Angels for free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program for an honest review of the product. All opinions are 100% mine.

Sadly, my kids has outgrown the “book-reading” during bed time, it got replaced by their Dad’s make stories.. It’s good though because it gives the hubster extra time to bond with them before sleeping.
The book sounds very interesting for young minds.

My older kid wants us to tell her stories after which, she’s going to tell her own story. That’s been part of our bedtime routine although recently, we’ve added the “reading books” part especially after receiving all these free children’s books.
