Do you experience looking at a picture and not remembering having that certain shot taken? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me when I saw this picture earlier today while I was browsing through the photos saved in our computer:
The photo was taken at the Bellagio Hotel during my aunt-in-law’s visit last year. She is the one wearing a beige shirt in the picture above while the woman wearing the red costume of a fat woman with fake pregnancy belly pouch is me. (Just kidding, I look soooo preggy in this pic!)
Aunt “L” is currently based in Indianapolis. We are actually convincing her to transfer to Las Vegas because her closest relatives are all here. Her husband passed away more than a decade ago and she does not have kids too who can take care of her.
Needless to say, she currently lives alone. I probably should convince hubby to get Aunt “L” a Vitalalert, a medical alert system with a button even for non-emergencies. Anyway, the last time we talked on the phone, Aunt “L” is already leaning towards relocating to Las Vegas. Having spent most of her life in Indianapolis however, she finds it somewhat hard to leave everything behind and start a new life here. In time, I guess, she might change her mind.
