Luckily, I can use my clear internet now to do work from home on the weekends and not have to go in to pull charts.
Our lab recently switched over to a secure computer system for records that we can access from home. I have to call participants in our study in the evenings to make sure that they completed the daily diaries that the study requires them to do. We work with a population that sometimes is hard to convince to get things done (seniors in high school). But now, I can just get on-line and see who has completed their assignment. If they haven’t I can just log onto the computer system and get their contact information so that I can call them.
I don’t have to worry about going to the lab and getting their information that I have on paper. It has made my life a lot easier and given me a lot more time to myself in the evenings. I love it!
