Next month, my baby will be having another one of her routine medical check-ups and immunization shots. Our last visit was about three months ago and one of the things her Pediatrician had noticed during that time was her diaper rashes. She said it’s not really a serious one as it doesn’t look like it was some kind of a yeast infection. She just suggested that I have to air dry my baby’s bottom and make sure that my baby’s behind is as dry as possible. She also recommended using a diaper rash ointment to help heal the diaper rashes quickly and sooth the irritated skin.
I remember buying the 2oz tube of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste at that time. It came in other convenient sizes (such as the 1oz, 3oz and 4oz tubes and the 16oz jar) but we preferred to test it first before spending on the bigger sizes. I know it has a funny name but one of my friends said it’s a fantastic product. Besides, it also had been featured in the Oprah Show, Tonight Show, Today Show, People Magazine, ESPN and While You Were Out TLC – so I thought, it might as well be a good product.
The Boudreaux Butt Paste, surprisingly, had a pleasant scent. It easily wiped off of my hands and most importantly, it quickly soothed my baby’s bum. In just about two days, the diaper rashes healed up.
I am sharing my experience with you because I recently came across Boudreaux’s Butt Paste’s website while doing my internet surfing. They are giving away free samples of their product and, of course, I requested for a free sample. I already bought and used it for my baby before but who can’t resist a freebie, right? Can you?

my baby frequently has diaper rash, too. i put ointment and it will lessen a bit. then the next day, it will worsen again. *sigh* yeah, i think i have to let her butt dry. i don’t know if that butt paste is available here. hehehe

Yeah, it’s important to let her butt dry. That’s my problem before because I would immediately put her new diapers on, I was thinking she’ll pee on the bed or couch if I don’t put it on immediately. It’s important to air dry and keep the diapers lose (yet secure) so that there will still be some sort of air circulation in there.
