Did you guys miss my daily updates? Lately, we’ve been very busy because my parents who are having a vacation with us here in Las Vegas will be going back home to the Philippines this weekend. Last minute shopping and sight-seeing are among the priorities in our to-do list right now.
Most of the places my parents have been to are only here in the west part of the country. They turned down an invitation from my mom’s friend (Tita Brigitte) who’s based in North Carolina (which is in the east coast) because of lack of time (and budget for plane tickets as well). Tita Brigitte even promised to show them various Highlands NC area attractions but I guess that will have to wait till their next vacation.
Anyway, I am glad that Tita Brigitte extended the invitation to hubby, me and the kids. Since she said that most of the area attractions in North Carolina are hiking, waterfalls and mostly outdoor adventures, we might try going there this summer or late spring to escape the scorching heat here in Las Vegas.
I can’t believe that almost six months passed by already since my mom arrived in the U.S. for the first time. Time seemed to move even faster when my dad arrived early this year. I do hope that they enjoyed their vacation here with us. For my hubby, me and the kids, their visit is sure a meaningful one.
