Can you still remember that time when your favorite team won the Super Bowl?
I bet that it got you more excited than ever. At the end of the game, you probably jumped off of the couch, wearing your jersey, cheering as loudly as you could. If there were fans of the other team at your house to watch the game, you probably rubbed it in their faces a bit (but not so much that you are being mean). All in all, it was a great day, and it let you feel happy at the end of the season in a way that is impossible for fans of all 31 other teams.
Now what do you do so that you never forget this day?
One option is to hang up the jersey that you were wearing while you watched the game. If you really want to make it special, take it down to the parade when the team comes to town and have some of the players sign it. After that, get sports memorabilia display cases at Collectible-Supplies.com and hang the jersey on the wall in your house. The case will protect the signature and you will remember how excited you were every time that you look at it.
Another option is to get the DVD that will come out that chronicles the team’s run to the Super Bowl. The DVD will contain commentary from the players and other people who were involved. It will have clips from the playoff games that led to the Super Bowl, including all of the most exciting or iconic plays. At the end, it will have footage from the big game and also footage that shows the team getting the trophy and celebrating at the end. Some DVD sets come with the broadcast footage for the whole game so that you can sit back and watch it if you want to. This is a good way to relive those glory days, especially if the team goes downhill in the future.
The beauty of the NFL, however, is that it is always moving forward. As soon as the Super Bowl ends, you are already moving toward next year. People are not going to respect your tame based on what they did, but on what they are currently doing. You need to focus on the future and get excited for the coming year. From time to time, though, there is nothing wrong with remembering that win.
