Which do you prefer, prepaid or postpaid (plan) phones?
Me, I want prepaid phones. I’ve never been a great enthusiast of plan or post-paid phones. First, I believe I can save more (or find ways to cut my expenses) when I do not have a fixed monthly expense on a phone line. Plus, I don’t like contracts, surprise bills and constant credit checks (which, by the way, will negatively affect your credit score) – so it’s definitely prepaid phones for me.
That’s why Straight Talk and its plans fit my lifestyle and budget. Aside from great nationwide coverage and excellent reception and connectivity, Straight Talk is free from activation, reactivation or termination fees. They have unlimited monthly service for only $45 which includes calls, text, picture messaging and web. For heavy phone users, they even have the “All You Need Plan” which comes with 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data. 411 calls are included too – at no extra charge!
If you want to call a friend or relatives overseas, Straight Talk International Long Distance Service will also allow you to make international calls. You can use this prepaid calling service from your home, cell or office phones at low rates.

I’ve been on postpaid for years. Now that I’m simplifying and trying to budget, I found that I really get more from prepaid than postpaid. So I’m now on postpaid. It is cheaper because I use up all the credits until under a plan, the international sms are not covered and most of my sms of international.
