During our stay in El Paso, Texas (one of our stops when we were driving across the US), we just cooked rice in a rice cooker before we left the motel in the morning, bought a KFC bucket meal for take out during lunch time and then had a picnic in the park.
As you can see in the picture below, it’s not really a big park, more like a children’s playground, but that’s where our GPS sent us to. In fairness, the neighborhood was peaceful and we enjoyed our lunch.
Here’s hubby and my mother in law while they were setting up the food. Since too many cooks spoil the dishes, I decided to be just the camera woman while baby Georyl seemed to enjoy being their supervisor. Look how big her smile is.
Do you also go on picnics outdoors? Isn’t that a great family bonding opportunity?

Anyways, regarding your query, RE: If the gravatars featured at the blogoversary contest are all current. YES. I made sure they are and if ever they do change, I will have to request them to revert to the original one for the sake of the contest. Only a few days remaining before the closing date. There’s actually one gravatar that’s a little difficult to identify coz she hasn’t left a comment of late. She said that would be a real challenge, hahaha! Her gravatar can be identifiable in the 2008-2009 comments 🙂
