“Silly daddy!”
The first time I’ve heard that line from Georyl, I was surprised. For one, that’s a word that we don’t usually use and then the other reason is that we talk in “tagalog” (a language in the Philippines) when at home. Plus, she told it to her dad while hubby is making faces to make her laugh (silly indeed) so it just means that she understands what she’s saying.
Georyl’s widening vocabulary is really a source of amazement and surprise for us. She can pick up words easily that sometimes, we need to spell out some words whenever she’s around because she understands it already. Abbreviations just don’t work anymore. She already knows that F.F. is french fries and M.M. is Mickey Mouse.
Speaking of Mickey Mouse, it’s where she got that “silly” word. It’s often used in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show.
Anyway, here’s my baby making silly poses while we’re having lunch at Popeyes last week. She’s refers to herself as silly baby whenever she sees these pics:

My my! My baby grows too fast or is it just a case of hoping that time will go slower so that we could enjoy our baby more. When I posted the pictures above on our Facebook page, most of my friends can’t help noticing how big she is now (compared to the last time I posted pics which seems like eons ago because I don’t usually do that, LOL).
Do you sometimes look at your child and think how wonderful they are? I do too. So happy to be given such gift from God.
