Right now, I’m using a Dreamhost VPS hosting package. I’ve had no end of problems. One of my friend’s sites is hosted by Bluehost and it’s always up…
I was planning on switching to Bluehost, but I’m not very savvy with host migration and they don’t seem to offer these services even at a fee which is too bad.
For anyone starting out though, Bluehost is the best bet for shared hosting. I know a few people that have 5 or 6 high traffic sites doing well with a single shared hosting account at Bluehost.

bluehost says they offer support for those. I actually inquired from them because I’m planning to transfer to another host.

ahm, i still prefer free hosting. hehehe

free hosting is good too elai. hehehe. i just thought self-hosted WP offers more ways to customize your site. and I also felt bad because of my PR3 blog that was disabled by blogger before.

Seems to have a reasonable price. I’m still using free hosting at this time since I do’t see it as an investment for not having so much time with my blogs. So for the meantime, I’ll just stay put with free hosting.
Thanks for this info though.

I’ve started with Bluehost, it’s a good starting point for bloggers!
After one year of blogging and with heavy theme customization, Bluehost shared hosting couldn’t handle my blog especially with higher daily traffic!
So, I went to HostGator VPS, and I must admit that Bluehost shared hosting is much faster than HostGator VPS, and I have no idea why!
This is why I still recommend BlueHost for those who start a new blog!

thanks for sharing your thoughts on this hesham. some of my friends are also hosting their blogs at bluehost while this blog recently transferred to hostgator.
