(Updated) Do you ever go to garage sales? We often see garage sales in our area especially during weekends. Last Saturday, one of our neighbors hosted one. Since they live a stone throw away from our house, we decided to check it out.
If you haven’t been to a garage sale yet, let me tell you that you can really get some of the items cheap. While I used to think that these are just folks selling their old clothes and stuff, I realized that some people sell stuffs that they don’t need, period. Some of them are unused, unopened, or very slightly used that they look like brand new. I actually didn’t expect to see some unopened cross stitch and needle crafts kits among the items being sold.
Take a look at these items that I bought for a steal!
I bought all of these for just $1.00 (a quarter apiece). Each set already has the threads, cloth and needle needed to complete the project. It came in it’s original packaging too – unopened!
I’m just so excited with these goodies that I got for an awesome bargain. I wanted to buy some cross stitch kits online shop for quite a while now because it’s one of the activities that I want to do to keep me busy at home but I am guilty as charged procrastinator. 🙂
Anyway, I think that the cross-stitch kit above is a wonderful garage sale find; do you agree?
