Hey everyone! How was your Christmas celebration? Did you receive lots of gifts?
Well, I did.
After living overseas and away from my relatives and friends for three years while we were still in Morocco, I finally remembered why it’s nice to live near families, relatives and friends – you get to receive more Christmas presents. LOL! I received lots of Christmas goodies and hubby gave me a very special gift. I’ll blog about it in another post soon but I’m just so busy right now to really create a wonderful thank you post for my very sweet, generous and loving hubby.
Speaking of being busy, I went shopping earlier today. When I noticed that one particular supermarket employee was wearing a nice pin with the phrase “Best Employee,” I jokingly asked her if all employees are wearing the same pin for if that happens, they are all “best”.
I was surprised when she mentioned that she’s the only one who wears it. When I asked her why, she explained that it’s their company’s way of recognizing their best employee for the month. When you are the top employee, you get to wear the “Best Employee” pin. Cool huh? It’s one of the unique employee recognition ideas I’ve heard so far. I’m bet, that employee must have been so proud to get the recognition and to wear that pin.

Hi Sheryl. Just dropping by to say Happy New Year naman. My kids received lots of gifts. I didn’t but that’s ok. It was a sort of a quiet Christmas this year.
