Wordpress Hosting from GoDaddy.com! 125x125

If you want to know how much you’ll initially pay to create your own WordPress blog and host it at GoDaddy, let me share with you the following computation of initial costs that you will incur to start an Economy plan at GoDaddy. I’m also giving you the figures for the 12, 24 and 36 months terms if wish to avail of additional discounts.

Features Minimum Length to Avail The Discount
Terms 3 mos. 12 mos. 24 mos. 36 mos.
Web Hosting Cost/month $4.99 $3.99 $3.99 $2.99
Initial Payment for Webhosting $14.97 $47.88 $95.76 $107.64
- plus domain *** $26.41 $59.32 $107.20 $119.08
- plus domain with privacy *** $35.40 $68.31 $116.19 $128.07

*** The regular price for .com annual domain registrations at GoDaddy is $11.44 while WhoIs privacy costs $8.99/year.

Do note that the cost above is for hosting only a single WordPress site. Since GoDaddy’s economy plan does not support multiple websites, you need to upgrade or buy either the Deluxe or Ultimate Plan if you plan to create two or more sites.

Being a GoDaddy user automatically makes me an affiliate of the said company. If you’re a first time buyer and would like to save 25% on your first GoDaddy purchase, just click on the banner below. You save 25% and help me in the process.

Yes! definitely NOT, cause it says there that the account is suspended???
Well, according to my daughter it’s alright now.

All our four sites were suspended just for a stupid reason, well they’re forgiven, haha!

God Bless, Gee and your family!:=)

Hm, I think I come off a bit better with my Dreamhost. It is the only hosting company that I’ve ever used but everything is unlimited, especially the bandwidth. The maximum that I pay is $9.95/month plus about another $10 if I want to add another domain. Webhosting is included for an unlimited amount of domains.

I only maintain one site so somehow, the economy plan works for me right now. With additional paid post/sponsored reviews, I might be able to save up for the “unlimited domain” hosting.

By the way, I’ll check out Dreamhost later. Who knows, I just might make the switch.

It is definitely worth it to host your site rather than use the free wordpress because there is so much more customization you can do. Great posting!

Thanks Christy. I actually am cooking up a post about free vs. paid hosting. I’m still researching on it right now.

Hi!

Just one question: Is it better to have an international hosting rather than local(ph) in terms of support, pricing, and benefits?

We’re planning to put up a small site (service oriented). I don’t have any technical background so I would like to know your insights.
